Planning a wedding can be overwhelming at times with so much to think about, plan and book. Not to mention, all the changes that take place after the wedding too! For many couples after a wedding there are lots of new things: name, address, email… Make life a little easier with Moo MiniCards. They are half the size of business cards but the perfect size for all your information. Upload your own images (an engagement picture?) or designs with your new personal information. For 100 mini cards they are only $19.99. Once you receive them you can include the mini cards in your wedding thank you cards. A great price that will save you from having to hand write all your new information.

There have been so many celebrity weddings in the last couple of weeks it is hard to keep them all straight! From Ryan and Blake, Stanley and Felicity, to Ann and Adam it seems that secret weddings are what most celebrities are planning today. If you were a celebrity would you keep your wedding a secret or would you announce it to everyone?
ps. I love seeing the sneaky pictures that are usually very pixelated and shot from far away by paparazzi.

Transforming rooms for any wedding or event is no small task. While rooms take vendors, rentals and resources to transform there are other areas of the venue that can be left up to you. For example: Hallways. Hallways are a great place that can be transformed with an easy idea. Here are some great ideas
Pictures: Hang various pictures of you as a couple in the hallway. Note: find inexpensive frames at Ikea. If the venue will not let you hang the pictures from the wall, think about attaching them to various fixtures using fishing wire.
Lights: Whether you use cafe lights, twinkle lights or uplights. Lighting a hallway will create a dramatic feel.
Candles: Line the hallway walls using large hurricane vases in varying heights. You can set the vases on top of pedestals, tree stumps or small cocktail tables.
Flowers: Have a few low or tall flower arrangements. It could be as simple as a couple of birch branches to full blown floral arrangements.
Sprucing up the hallways can make a big difference in maintain the vibe throughout the venue.

Want wedding video footage but have a tight budget? Wedit is the solution! Wedit sends 5HD cameras in the mail 3 days before the wedding weekend. The couple passes the cameras out to the wedding guests throughout the festivities to record various parts of the festivities. At the end of the night the couple (or a friend) collects the cameras and returns them to Wedit. Wedit will then edit all the footage and provide you with a wedding video to enjoy!

These pictures are amazing. I had never seen Jackie and JFK’s wedding pictures, so when I found these on Miss Moss I was floored. The wedding is so timeless, it could take place today. From the chivari charis to the dress, these are all trends happening today. The pictures were taken by Life photographer Lisa Larsen. Enjoy! Pictures found here.

This past weekend we had the pleasure of being a part of an extraordinary Bridal Bliss wedding. Jane and Michael’s wedding ceremony was held at Temple Beth Israel followed by a stunning reception at Blue Hour. From the personalized menus to individual two tiered wedding cakes, ever detail was flawlessly executed.
New and Blue proudly supplied Jane and Michael with their traditional Jewish programs, table numbers, and personalized menus. Watch the above video, by the always talented Holland Studios, for all the must see wedding pictures. For more pictures and details follow the jump to the lovely Bridal Bliss blog.

Coachella is this weekend and in honor of this massive music festival we thought it would be fun to design a Coachella wedding. Coachella which takes place in Indio, California has over 120 acts including some of the music industry’s biggest names. All you music junkies, this could very well be the wedding of your dreams. Are you going to Coachella?

We have all seen the original posted Keep Calm and Carry On, but where did it originate from? A dear friend recently sent me the video above. The posters now seen across the globe have a very heartfelt and interesting history behind them. Enjoy, and as we like to say in the wedding world: Keep Calm and Marry On!

New and Blue recently participated in Rocked, a bridal show hosted by Portland Bride and Groom at the Nines Hotel. We recently got our hands on a few pictures and wanted to share the amazing set up! The room was designed and planned by Bridal Bliss with vendors including: West Coast Event Productions, Zest Floral, and One Divine Party.
