Yes, that is a bride and groom in an ice cream truck and they are serving their guests!  What a cute idea!  Towards the end of the evening, as their guests were inside dancing, the couple snuck out into an ice cream truck they had rented from Aunt LaLi.  They donned aprons and jumped in ready to serve their guests.  The Wedding Planner, Jean Marks, cued the DJ and he lowered the music so the guests could hear the ice cream truck music….he said, “hmmm…it sounds like dessert is outside…let’s go see.”  As the guests followed the music they were greeted by the bride and groom offering them cool treats we all remember from our childhood.

We love Etsy!  So many handmade items in one place…it’s like a candy store without the calories!  While browsing yesterday, we came across these adorable clutches.  GirlbyAileen began sewing at an early age, having watched her mother sew dresses for she and her sister, and has always dreamed of having her own boutique.  What a boutique it would be with these unique creations.  We love the bold colors and patterns and think they would make fabulous bridesmaids gifts!  You can choose from her selection of fabrics here.

The ever talented Alesia Zorn just posted this very clever chalkboard menu.  The bride came up with the puzzle for her signature cocktails and word has it there are larger ones for the dinner menu and desserts.  Alesia is known for her gorgeous calligraphy, on just about any surface, and has recently added the chalkboard menus to her repertoire.  How cute is this?  We love it and it makes us wish we were invited!
